Publication Ethic

The publication code of ethics is a norm that must be obeyed by authors who will publish their scientific work in publication media. The basic norm in making publications is to prioritize morals, scientific integrity, and honesty of the author.

- Morals are able to distinguish between good and bad behavior in writing.

-  Scientific integrity, upholding the rules, nature and scientific truth, so as not to sacrifice it for any interes

- Honesty, what the author does is in accordance with the actual objective conditions, and does not do things that should not be done in research / writing (misconduct).

Code of ethics that must be fulfilled by authors who will publish their scientific articles in Journal of Architecture and Urban Studies:

1. Authors must uphold scientific conduct to understand the benefits / advantages and risks of published writing.

2. Published articles are free from misconduct, including: Fabrication, falsification of data, and plagiarism/autoplagiarism.

3. Authors must include adequate citations on all statements, ideas, data that are not the result of research.

4. Articles published in the field of science are in accordance or relevant to the field of science of the Journal of Architecture and Urban Studies.

5. Published articles do not cause conflict with certain parties or have the potential to disturb the community.

6. The authors listed in the published article are truly those who are competent and have significant contributions in writing the article.

7. The authors do not double manuscript submission to other journals or publication facilities, simultaneously.

8. Part or all of the published article has never been published in other means of publication.

9. Published articles are original (original) research results, ideas or thoughts of the author, which are guaranteed by a Plagiarism Free Statement written on stamp duty by the author.


For each author in the Journal of Architecture and Urban Studies is required to fill out a statement explaining that the article has never been published in any journal.
