Abstract
Background: The years a child spends in elementary school are very important for their overall growth and development. It's a time when they learn many important skills, and this can happen best when they get enough physical activity and eat well-balanced meals. Teachers are important during this time, so they need to have strong skills and knowledge. One good way to help is to make physical activities fun by teaching healthy habits in a regular and organized way at school. Objective: This program uses Aerobic Gymnastics for Kids, which includes music and songs, to help children develop their body movements and musical abilities. Music that matches what children like can make them more excited and interested. This community service project also helps improve the physical health of both teachers and students. Method: The program took place in three parts. First, we looked closely at the partner school to learn about the students and the challenges they face. Then, we had a session where we explained the basics of being active and living a healthy life. Finally, we did a practical activity called Aerobic Gymnastics for Kids, where teachers and students took part directly. Result: Both teachers and students were really excited during the aerobic gymnastics sessions made especially for kids. Teachers learned new ways to create fun and educational physical activities. The advice on healthy living also helped teachers become better leaders in making changes at school. Conclusion: This program successfully enhanced teachers’ understanding of the importance of aerobic exercise and a healthy lifestyle, encouraging the integration of physical activity into the school routine. Nutrition and physical activity education had a positive impact on both teachers and students.
